LINDA D. RAPPAPORT HONORED ON APRIL 2, 2009

On Thursday, April 2, 2009, Linda D. Rappaport was honored at the 7th Annual Top Women in Business Networking Awards Dinner for her outstanding leadership within her business and local communities.  Linda was among 28 other women, including Fox 5 News’s own Rosanna Scotto, who all received the honor of Top Women in Business in Queens.  In addition to receiving the award she also was given a Citation of Honor from the Borough President Helen Marshall’s Office, The Certificate of Recognition and Gratitude from New York City Council Member Helen Sears, The City of New York Certificate of Recognition from Mayor Michael Bloomberg and a Certificate of Achievement from Senator Toby Ann Stavisky.     

Linda is the On-Site Licensed Real Estate Broker for Charles H. Greenthal Property Sales at North Shore Towers and Country Club. This is a position she has held for the last 15 years. She was also a past President of the Women's Council of Realtors when her Chapter won a national award for recruitment and the “Women’s Council of Realtors Chapter Excellence Award” during her Presidency in 2004.  Linda continues to play an active role in the organization, recently being awarded the organization’s “2008 Member of the Year Award". Being concerned about our environment and the world we will be leaving our children, she became certified as an Eco Broker, one of the first in Queens, providing green strategies and tools for buyers and sellers.
