GREEN TIPS
- Recycle recently published books and magazines by donating them to our Library.
- Make an appointment with Maintenance to have your Verticon A/C Heating Units cleaned – It’s Free! At the same time have the filters changed too (minimal fee). They should be changed at least twice a year.
- Remember to use the recycling bins in the compactor rooms for all your bottles, cartons, plastics, and papers.
- If you are renovating your home, remember to invest in Energy Star appliances and CFL Bulbs – You’ll see the savings in your Energy Bill!
- If your washing machine still has rubber hoses, call maintenance to replace them with stainless steel hoses (minimal fee) – it helps prevent leaks!
- If your faucets are dripping or your toilet won’t stop running call maintenance to have it fixed. It helps to conserve water.
- Save gas and use the local vendors down on the Arcade Level for all your shopping needs. If you have to go out, don’t forget about our Courtesy Bus as your transportation option! (Schedule available in Sales Office)
